Registry
Department is an important Unit of the University. This Department
consists of the following Sections: Academic
Affairs, Student
Affairs, Personnel
and Administration, General Services,Security and Sports Directorate.
This Department facilitates the recruitment of staff as well as
students. The Academic Affairs Section is responsible for the
recruitment of students both locally and internationally. The
Personnel and Administration Section co-ordinates the recruitment
of staff, both teaching and non-teaching. Student Affairs Section
takes pride in looking after students once they have been registered.
This Section comprises of the Health Unit and Counselling Unit,
and both these Units are of great importance to student life on
campus. The General Services Section looks after the University’s
grounds, transport, water system and does general maintenance.
Again the importance of this Unit to students cannot be over emphasised.
It can therefore be seen that Registry Department is indeed an
important wing of the University.
