University Graduate Tuition
and Fees for 2009-2010 first semester. The fees are quoted in United States Dollars for consistency; as they have been since Africa University opened in 1992.Since Zimbabwean nationals and residents have the option to pay the fees in local currency, the Zimbabwe dollar equivalent of the quoted fees would be adjusted on a daily basis because of the high rate of inflation in the economy.Those persons who opt to pay their fees in Zimbabwe dollars should check the quoted fees for the day and pay in Cash at the Business Office on campus or at any other venue specifically designated for this purpose by the University. Depositing fees in the Africa University local currency bank account – whether by cheque or cash – is forbidden henceforth. These
fees will cover for students registering for full-time MBA,
MPG, MTS, PSMTP and MPH.

Note:
*Students from outside Zimbabwe must obtain a Student Permit from
the Immigration department. It is payable in foreign currency only.
*Interest will be charged at the prevailing bank rate on a daily basis on all overdue accounts.
**Health insurance is compulsory.
From the 2004/2005 academic year all students will be required to
join the medical scheme that is run by the University. Exceptions
will only be accepted on a case by case basis and only for approved
schemes.
NB:
New Pre-registration procedures for August 2009
Every student who is intending to register for lectures in August 2009 must pay his or her tuition and accommodation fees, if applicable, prior to entering the campus.
Tuition must be paid before the University will accept payment for on-campus accommodation.
Upon payment of tuition, each student will be issued with a clearance certificate from the Business Office allowing him or her to pay for accommodation and receive a gate pass for entry into the campus at the Main Gate.
Students will be required to show their clearance certificates and valid University ID card to gain entry at the Main Gate. They will also be required to surrender their gate passes on entry.
University
accommodation is optional.
The University
runs a canteen on a pay as you eat basis .The amount required for meals will vary from student to student
depending on the number of courses as well as meals taken. The estimated figure per semester can not be given because of the current flactuating inflation rate in Zimbabwe.
