INSTITUTE OF PEACE, LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE (IPLG)

The pan-African Institute for Peace, Leadership and Governance (IPLG) is Africa University’s
contribution to building a culture of peace and good governance for social and economic
transformation in 21st Century Africa. 

IPLG offers opportunities for full-time study leading to the award of

i. a post-Graduate Diploma in Peace and Governance (GDPG) and

ii. Masters degree in Peace and Governance (MPG) in three areas:

Peace Studies and Conflict Management

Leadership in Africa, and

Governance and Civil Society.
Admission Requirements

1. A Bachelor ‘s degree of good standing or

2. An equivalent professional qualification obtained through formal study and examination :
and
3. At least one –year work for the Graduate Diploma and two years for the Graduate
Diploma and two years for the Masters degree applicants.
