The
University community chose a veteran employee,
Kattie Dozva, as its Worker of the Month in January.
Born in Old Mutare in 1967, Dozva joined the
University as a cook in 1993. She has held the position of
supervisor in Food Services unit for the past three years.
Dozva loves her work and goes about her duties with asunny demeanor and
eagerness to see that customers inthe Cafeteria are well taken care of.
She was pleased that
the way she does her job and works with other poeople has been recognized.

University Worker of the Month competition
“People saw
me as a person who was working,” said Dozva. “The award is instrumental
in motivating
employees as they will do their best… all departments get a chance to
recognize the hard workers.”
With three other colleagues, Dozva oversees food
preparation and quality and monitors a staff of thirty kitchen workers. “It
is a nice place to work… I like everyone I work Month. The result represents
a majority choice.
