The American Marketing Foundation recently donated journals worth over US$1 000 to the Business section of the Jokomo/Yamada library. Mr. James Guzha, Senior Assistant Librarian for Management and Administration revealed that the donation of 24 journals in marketing was made possible by the generous gesture of the Board of Trustees of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Foundation, who through their Journal Distribution Programme intend to meet the demand for marketing information to help countries and their business leaders compete in a free market economy.

The donated journals included fours issues for 2002 of each of AMA’s premier journals, the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and journal of International Marketing, also included are six issues of Marketing Management and two issues for 2003 of Marketing News.

The journals are on the Management and Administration Display Shelves in the Periodicals Section.
