Zimbabwe celebrates AU Sunday

The University Chaplain’s Office organised and deployed a group of 30 speakers, students, faculty and staff, across the
Zimbabwe East Annual Conference for the celebration of Africa University Sunday. Speakers highlighted the
University’s ministry and impact in worship services in the Mutare, Chimanimani and Harare districts. The Zimbabwe
Area UMC uses AU Sunday to update congregations on the institution’s progess and stimulate giving to support its
work. Last year, the area raised more Z$285 million (prerevaluation) or close to US$3000 for scholarships.
